Background
The inspiration to this image came when I was sitting in my local cafe Katjas in Ystad and scouting Google maps for photo locations. I had bought the a crystal orb a couple of days earlier so I was looking for places where I could try the Orb.
The location that I decided upon was the Lighthouse in Sandhammaren, which is located only 25km from where a live - even though the Lighthouse is quite near to where I live, I had actually never been there.
So I finished my coffee and went back to my apartment, to get my cameras - this morning a brought my Fujifilm x-h2 and Pentax 645 D + some tripods.

Sandhammaren turned out to be really beautiful place and I have revisit it several times since this image was taken.

Taking the Image
This is the location from where I shoot the image, and as you can see on the image, its quite an slope up to the Lighthouse.
I did setup my tripod in the middle of the slope - and setting the tripod as low as I could.
Then I attached my Fujifilm x-h2 camera with a Tamron 17-70mm lens to the tripod and lay down down with my left arm stretched out holding the Orb.
I had the camera in Manual mode with manual focus - and used the LCD screen to get the focus right.
I did setup my tripod in the middle of the slope - and setting the tripod as low as I could.
Then I attached my Fujifilm x-h2 camera with a Tamron 17-70mm lens to the tripod and lay down down with my left arm stretched out holding the Orb.
I had the camera in Manual mode with manual focus - and used the LCD screen to get the focus right.
I'm really happy with how the image turned out, and I have had a lot of positive feed back on the image.
The Original Image
Seen here to the left is the original image - here you can see the Lighthouse in the background and also the the rubber suction cup I used to hold the orb.
At this stage I did actually think about keeping the lighthouse in the background, but the more I looked at the image - I decided to remove the lighthouse in the background - I it was the right decision.
Editing the image
Here you see the image during editing - here I have removed the rubber suction cup and applied a dark moody preset.
The moody preset mad the image to dark, so I have increased the exposure to lighten the image.

To remove the lighthouse in the background I first used the remove tools in Photoshop - but that left a ghost effect from the lighthouse, so I had to use the AI tools to remove the lighthouse.
